Shipping policy

1. Shipping Provider

All orders are shipped using ARAMEX Store to Door.

Once your order has been dispatched you may receive tracking information where available.

2. Delivery Timeframes

Orders are typically delivered within 8–11 business days from the date of order confirmation.

Please note:

  • Business days exclude weekends and public holidays
  • Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed
  • Certain remote or outlying areas may experience longer delivery times

3. Order Processing

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days before shipment.

Orders placed on weekends public holidays or after business hours will be processed on the next business day.

4. Shipping Delays

While we aim to ensure timely delivery Lumière Baby cannot guarantee exact delivery dates.

Delays may occur due to:

  • Courier operational delays
  • Weather conditions
  • High order volumes
  • Public holidays
  • Service interruptions
  • Incorrect delivery information provided by customers
  • Events beyond our reasonable control

To the maximum extent permitted under South African law Lumière Baby shall not be held liable for delivery delays caused by third party courier services including ARAMEX Store to Door.

However this does not affect any consumer rights that may apply under the Consumer Protection Act.

5. Incorrect Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all shipping details are accurate and complete at checkout.

Lumière Baby will not be responsible for:

  • Failed deliveries due to incorrect addresses
  • Delays caused by incorrect contact details
  • Additional courier fees resulting from address corrections or redelivery attempts

6. Lost or Damaged Parcels

If your parcel arrives damaged or appears to be lost please contact us within 48 hours of delivery or expected delivery date.

We will assist in opening an investigation with the courier where applicable.

Lumière Baby reserves the right to wait for courier investigation outcomes before issuing replacements or refunds.
